More on Planning

 2013 Daily Planner small

Today I'd like to post a link to a guest post on Amy's blog Raising Arrows. I enjoy quite a bit from Amy's blog. It's one of my go-to blogs when I need tips or encouragement. Today she posted an article by the creator of Daily Planner on how to use a planner. It's very informative for those who don't know how to use a planner or just can't seem to make one work.
"Written schedules are not laws that can’t be changed, but rather they serve as guide to help you plan what is reasonable. Freely modifying your schedule is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of strength. It is important to make wise choices that are best just for today."
She is also offering free shipping for her 2013 planner. I've never used this particular one, but you might like to check it out.

The How and Why of Using a Planner in 2013

  1. Julie,
We are still traveling on our way back to Alaska from Family Week. We spent a week and a half with my parents in North Carolina and now we are in Texas visiting my sister.
We found it difficult to visit at Family Week because it was so cold and rainy. We spent most of our free meals inviting one family at a time to fit in our motor home to eat with us. I wish I had remembered to look you up. I was just looking at the campsite map and it shows you next to the McCarty's. Their son lives in the village next to us in Alaska. So we made it a point to meet them and invite them over one evening. We were so close!!! We could have squeezed your family in too!!! I think they had more going on in the afternoons than they like to too which made it hard to do as much visiting.
Overall it was a great time for us. I am sorry we didn't get to meet though :(

    1. We really didn't get to meet very many people. It was really strange and we didn't enjoy FW for the reason we went which was to make connections with people and fellowship. We ended up leaving on Friday and visiting with friends back in Alabama. We would have loved to at least meet you all :( Maybe some other time our paths will meet :) Blessings and safe travels!
